What is hypnosis

 

Hypnosis, also referred to as hypnotherapy , is a trance-like state in which you have heightened focus and concentration. Hypnosis is a natural occurring mind state that we all experience in a mild form several times a day, it is the same relaxed state that you experience when first waking up in the morning and just before you fall asleep at night or when you are engrossed in watching your favourite TV programme or film. It is the productive flow or state that you achieve when totally absorbed in an activity or task, such a driving or listening to music.
