By using methods such as desensitisation and aversion techniques, associations and conditioned responses, including my own unique technique called SPE (Smoking Process Elimination, which I used on myself to stop my vaping habit that I picked up at the start of the first lockdown) can be changed to remove cravings in order to kick the habit for good. Other strong association people have with smoking such as having a drink or finishing a meal can be broken using hypnotherapy.
